Road trip to far far away in eastern finland - Day 2
Well Well , because of so many crazy blog readers requested ( !!!) to write the day 2 asap , I started writing it again.
Day 2 starts in a glamorous lappenrenta nightlclup - Hennes & Mauritz . It is decent and with variety of music . Though when I searched in google , most of the hits go to night clup Diva. But on the way to Diva we say Hennes & Mauritz with a long long queue ( Only two places finns queue , entrance to nightclup and crazy day in stockholm ( If you are female then toilet too ) )... Apprently we decided to check out this temple of worship .. Long long queue in obviously not a good weather outside Hennes & Mauritz. There was a gal starring at us since we funny looking foriengners complaining about finnish weather and how boring finns are sometime ( Well , in my living and learning about finns , they are shy but they have potential sense of humor , atleast one of the best jokes in my life I heard from finn that about a hippo and finn . If you do not know this ask any of your finnish friends , they might know ) .. So this gal in front of us started starring at us .. Our greek friend , lets call her as "Malaga the Medical Doctor " got obviously pissed off and started looking her back . I think she is lonely there , And she want some buddies but she doesnt have a guts to open her mouth and say it... But malaga said she might be angry about us since we complained about finland ( Well thats the truth anyway , so it is not a complaint ) ...
Well lets move on since the queue moves on ... There we are closer to the bouncer .. It is a horrible thing at mid night and you waited in a queue for 30 minutes and you are standing near to the bouncer next to get in but you dont have an ID.............. heart beat goes up and down like my announcement of exam results .. ( Shit .. I hate it ) .. My pessimistic mind says shit this guy looks one who hates forigners and he is going to kick me out .... World is full of surprises and there he smiles and say welcome ... Shit once again I am in a nightlclup where I could see fully maked up beautiful gals holding a cider in their hand and dancing as a group of gals.. ( Lespo's !!?? ... No they are not .. this is a funny thing about a finnish gal , they do not trust much when it comes to their wallet , so they usually keep thier waller in the middle and they circle around and start dancing... I do not know , thats a lack of confidence or need of appreciation... ) anyway .. I am in as a happy kid .....As soon as you enter , the first thing I would like to check is toilet .. Ofcourse just look in the mirror and say to urself " Stupids only beleive elvis is dead .. And I am the elvis "... Oops confidence peeks up and ready to rock and roll...

Road trip to far far away in eastern finland - Day 1
I do not know it is a good idea when I thought about driving to eastern finland on Easter holidays. Easter is still on apr , will that ring a bell on your brain .. if you live in Finland long enough it could, because the cold cold winter still leaves its foot steps in east. So it doesn't look like apr neither it feels so..
Nevertheless I do not have a choice because I did not pre-plan it as usual and even a rynair tickets to Riga cost few hundred euros . So I decided to see what kind of clothes Finns wear in east.
Day comes , we set to drive .. but does that make me Indian if I am not late .. Well this time I am determined to be in time .. but there comes my fate my other travel mate , he delayed it by 30 min ( you can guess where he could have from ) .. but nevertheless we started wheeling on road and we picked up our other friend ... you can not guess her nationality because no one did it .. Thats my fav bet, I am for sure that I will never loose, So some times I dare to bet drinks to strangers and enjoy their failure.
So first thing when we hit on the road , we realized that our car is not that hygienic , lol may be I am lazy enough to take my Toyota for shower... well so we have to do it .. It just cost 1.5 euro in a esso and couple of coins that is 3 euro could clean the car .. well its manual but it does the job .. this 2 great friends of mine sitting and enjoying the sun with a coffee and I am cleaning the car .. well that makes me a proud owner .. definitely not ... but that's the way it goes when you have great friends...
So there we go on 120 on a freeway to Porvoo ... when we reached there it is perfect sunny weather and I have to pay a parking ticket it cost 4 euro .. One thing I really hate is this parking tickets and I always try to check my luck here by not paying this .. well probability of getting fine seems high in Finland ... and it is 10 times higher .. so better pay this parking ticket rather than paying a fine that gets your hell out... We were hanging around in old town and that's the best place to hang around .. I am not so amused of the great old legendary church there because it doesn't impress me that much may be I was not that grown up ..You have to compare the food price between this old town and just 200 meters on the other side .. it could be 50% off .. well learn how the tourism can hike the price...
So we end up in Amarillo , a restaurant chain in Finland .. and salmon that's the favorite food ... this little creature are so beautiful when they swim also when they dead in your plate especially with little salt and nothing more..
after the food we were as lazy as drunken crocodiles and lying down in the bench .. that makes it a perfect day ...I saw a old lady with wrinkles and I always amazed how nature add beauty .. or it is just not noticed well ...
back on the wheels head to Lappenrenta.. there we are behind the pizzeria in a tiny hostel door ... guess what no one there other than us ...and we were talking about hostel kind of horror movies .. We saw a hostel keeper , he is in his 40s with a long pony tail ... honestly it looks like we are the only one and I see rock star style of hostel keeper and my back brain having the stories of horror movies ... shit my face already getting pale .. but being the man do you ever show your fear ... Interestingly he is impressive and too nice ... so once again my wise monkey told have a faith on humanity and get the Hollywood movie shit out of brain..
we had a perfectly set bet with miniature size TV and empty refrigerator .. now i have a nap though my friends went out for a sightseeing believing that something spectacular out ... though you can go out of city in 10 min if you run fast and 15mins if you do jogging and 20 min if you walk. The best thing can happen to you is when you wake up and you are still alive .. Especially after you have a nap on Saturday night and you are as fresh as like a morning flower and you are ready to rock and roll on unknown city...Anyway we thought of check out some local night club , We chose the nightclub which has the longest queue ( trick you should learn from Finn , may be sometime it could miserably fail )..That's end of first day.....
